We begin work after: ✔ all requested documents are received ✔ your service proposal & engagement agreement is signed ✔ payment has been submitted Submitting partial documents may delay processing. We recommend uploading everything at once whenever possible.

Turnaround times vary depending on complexity and current volume. Returns are processed in the order they are received once initial requirements have been met (signed service proposal, upfront payment, and all tax documents sent). Advisory clients are prioritized ahead of others due to ther year-round engagement. To alleviate stress, we schedule all other returns from January through October, rather than trying to cram everything in before April 15th. Year-round advisory and planning crucial, so you can be sure all estimated tax payments are made before April 15th to avoid penalties.

If we request clarification, additional information, or a signature, and do not receive a timely response from you, your project may be impaired or placed on hold. We cannot complete our work, or file incomplete or estimated returns, without proper documentation and signature. Timely communication ensures timely completion.

Timeliness is a shared responsibility. We make every effort to meet filing deadlines when clients provide complete information and respond to us in a timely manner. However, if documentation or communication is delayed, you may be required to file an extension. Remember: an extension to file is not an extension to pay. Personal income tax labilities must be paid on or before April 15th to avoid penalties. It may be necessary for you to make an estimated tax payment if we need to file an extension for you.
